What Is The Last Beauty Product You Bought and Loved?

      Hello my fellow bloggers! I have a question for you this week. What was your most recent beauty product you actually purchased and loved? I know, it's peculiar  that I am asking you this questions since I am trying to steer you away from costly beauty regiments.  Let's face it, we all get a little curious time to time. So we will keep this a secret between you and me. I'll start, this afternoon I purchased a beauty blender sponge from Sephora. Although I wasn't too thrilled about paying $17 for a what seems to be just sponge. I will say that the quality of my makeup foundation appeared more natural. Hope to hear from you soon!

Kitchen Facials

     Hello there bloggers! Ladies, and even some of our gentlemen, love our fare share of makeup. Unfortunately, our skin and pores do not share the same admiration. Although we may use face primer before applying makeup, I am sorry to inform you that the primer doesn't completely protect your skin. Lets also not forget some of us lack to clean our makeup applicators and brushes daily...well I know I forget all the time. In addition, makeup removers often still leaves residue as well. Therefore, it is crucial to add facials to your weekly regiment plan.
     Now, I know your thinking professional facials and exfoliates are expensive. Or you may be uncomfortable with using over the counter products. I mean who truly knows what they are putting in there products. So I have a cost efficient and organic solution, and is right in your very own kitchen! After you have selected pick  key ingredients depending on your skin type, grab a bowl and spoon, mix it up and your set. Enjoy! 

For Dry Skin:
  • Lemon, sugar, olive oil and honey.
  • Coconut oil, sugar and water.
For Oily Skin:
  • Salt and lemon
  • Smashed strawberry
  • Honey and oatmeal
Clearing Dead Skin:
  • Strawberry and honey
  • Epson salt and water
Soften Skin
  • Brown sugar and water
  • Papaya and oats

How to Cheat A Flexi Rod Set!

        Hello Everyone! Today's tutorial is about how to achieve big beautiful curly hair without any heat and with organic products. This tutorial may appear more difficult then in actuality but just follow these step by step directions and you will end up with fabulous results! In order to get the curl effect you will need a pack of flexi rods (these can be found in your local convenient and beauty store). Make sure to get the length and width appropriate for your hair. But before we can use our flexi rods we must first make our gel to give a long lasting soft gel for hold to last throughout the day and night.

You will the following: 
  • 1/4 cup of  whole flaxseeds
  • 4 cups of water
  • 1 mid size pot
  • 1 pair of nylon stockings knee high
  • Eyedropper
  • Vitamin E
  • Basil Essential Oil
  • Lavender Oil
  • Rosemary Oil 
  • 1 Tupperware cup with lid 
Flaxseeds Gel Directions:

  1. Bring 4 cups of water to a boil.
  2. Add 1/4 cup cup of whole flaxseeds to your boiling water.
  3. Make sure to stir the water and flaxseeds periodically to avoid any seeds sticking to the sides of the pot.
  4. While the water is boiling apply the nylon stocking to the rim of the plastic tupperware cup. 
  5. Continue to stir you will start to notice the water thickening and congealing. 
  6. Once the water turns into a milky color on the top, reduce heat.
  7. Next pour the content into your home made strainer.
    • You will notice the remaining flaxseeds will be caught away from the the gel. 
    • Unhook the stocking from the cup.
  8. In order to get all of the gel from the strainer use a metal tong, to protect your hands, squeeze the stocking over a cup. Then your done making your gel! You may notice that your gel is still resembles the liquid. Don't worry allow 15 minutes to chill and it will transform to a more gel like substance.
Now You're Ready to Flex!
You Will Need:

  • Flaxseed gel
  • Wide tooth comb
  • 2-4 Clips
  • Pack go Flexi Rods
  • Spray bottle (optional)

         Depending on your hair preference if you want a more elongated result, blow dry and stretch your hair in advance. If your desire a tighter more coiled hair pattern you may leave your hair damp or towel dry. 

  1. First separate your hair in to medium size sections.
  2. Use your clips to hold the serrate sections in place.
  3. Before applying the flexirod to the hair, add a small dime size amount to the hair.
  4. Next one your applied the gel, starting from the back wrap your hair in a spiral pattern around the flex rod.
  5. Turn the flex rod down to secure the curl.
  6. Repeat steps 3-5 until done.
    • For best result leave rods in over night and separate with a comb to your likely in the morning. 
        I hope you enjoyed your new flexi rod set. This a easy nightly regime that will have you looking flawless by morning. For the best result, reapply rods daily (you can uses the gel ager the first night as you like).  In addition store gel in the refrigerator to reframe for the gel spoiling due to the natural ingredients.
